Thinking of heading to Spain later this year in the GC. This time taking the ferry, but pet friendly cabins are at a premium on Brittany Ferries, and are not available for the dates we require. Looking further with Brittany Ferries, if we go via Fishguard to Rosslare in Ireland, then Rosslare to Santander, dog friendly cabins are available.
Has anyone done the trip this way with a dog? With Eurotunnel it is straight forward, a pet station to report to at Folkestone and then Calais on the return to produce and get the AHC stamped. I presume going via Ireland we report to the pet station at Fishguard and then the pet station at Rosslare for the further ferry to Spain. On the return trip report at Santander and then Rosslare for the trip back to Fishguard?
Interested in hearing from anyone who has done it this way with a dog. I know about the rabis and tapeworm treatment required for the AHC.
Cheers
Don
