This is really simple and apologies if someone else already did this but clattering wine bottles in the cupboard were annoying me.

So… thick elastic bands round the tops and bottoms of alternate bottles stops them rattling and sliding laterally when in the cupboard. See pic for what I’m actually wittering on about.

We use the same type of black elastic bands off Amazon for our several 'Tupperware' type boxes, even if they have secure clip closure, for similar reasons. Stops rattling and slipping about.

Many good wines are also in boxes now in France. Easier, lighter, safer, and stackable to carry than bottles. Quality does not suffer if drunk slowly. Adopt to conditions. :)
Reminds me of an old quip:

'French wine gets better by the glass. After one, you're anybody's. After two you're everybody's. And after three, even the wife looks attractive!

and the best thing about a box is you never have the conundrum of whether or not to open another bottle, there's always one more glass.....
