Anyone reliably doing this? Looking at the amount of stuff (paddle board / kayak) we want to take on summer European travels, we think removing the rear seat near the kitchen will be ideal as the 335 toilet can go there (with cushioned seat on top). We like room to stop off and relax when travelling hence wanting some space in the rear BUT want the
confidence we can sleep downstairs when suits still with one of the rear seats removed. Cali Chris suggested this looked possible?

I occasionally do this when we don’t want to leave bikes on the back. We use Brompton’s mostly with the van.

It’s not hard to do and the seats aren’t too difficult to move thankfully. It also makes it easier using the kitchen when standing.

Yes, I removed the kitchen side seat immediately. It's no problem but when dismounting the bed I'd keep to the right just to be safe...not putting any excess weight on the left side that will have less support.
