T7 Ocean - Collection items received...

Hi all,

I thought it might help if I share what I received within my new California Ocean, it was tricky to find exact details online so hope the list and photos help others.

Included:
Photo 1 - 2x Fly screens(packed neatly in two sleeves), First aid kit, high-vis jackets, tyre inflater and repair kit, black straps, euro adaptor only for mains hook-up
Photo 2 - 2x windows vents, Thule something (assume caps if you remove the awning), 4x latching clips, 1x secure netting
Also included but not photographed - External shower hose, front windscreen blinds with poles.

Some mentioned a Gooseneck reading light, never received this so not sure if this is standard, included. Would have liked this considering the number of USB-C ports dotted about.

I would have liked a new gas bottle and mains hook-up lead, weird they provide the euro adaptor but not a cable.

Never heard of anyone getting a gooseneck reading lamp. IKEA do them and they are not expensive. They are

HÖSTULOTA​

and are £1.50 each.

Also not heard of anyone getting a Euro adaptor. Added extra if you plan on going to French sites. Most have the standard blue connector but you will usually come across one that has the older electrics on site.

Glad dealers are finally getting all the correct accessories with the new vans. I had to wait on a couple of items that VW did not have in stock.

Thanks for the IKEA recommendation, so cheap!! VW option is £25+

The gooseneck is just for the beach as we don't get a light in the pop top. It's bulky and annoying so as the other poster said we just bought a cheap IKEA usb c light

No - it's not supplied - I started scouring facebook marketplace a month or two before delivery! Especially as the beach only seems to take the 904

Where did you find the tie down straps for the roof and the anchor points. I can't find mine so may have to contact the dealer but wanted to be sure they are not hidden somewhere I haven't looked.

Got a Coast 4 weeks ago. Ex-demo model with a lot of options which come as standard on the Ocean. Only things I can see that I haven’t got are the heated front/rear screens, rear passenger door fly nets, first aid kit, but did get 6 not 4 cargo securing thingys and all other stuff as previously mentioned above.
Already had a lot of bits such as EHU cable, euro adaptor, UK adaptor and splitter, more yellow vests, safety triangles, 2 x 907 gas canisters as I had a CADAC before. Downsized from a Globecar Campervan on a Fiat Ducato body.
Have also since bought external thermal windscreen cover, rear door mozzie net, rear carpets,
The table was missing so awaiting one from the dealer. So far so good with it.

Hi, everything was ready for me at the rear parcel shelf, passenger door storage or glovebox. Seems I received everything for a new T7 Ocean spec.
