T7 Ocean 2 questions (Rear light cluster and Assist alert sound)

Morning all,

Had our new Ocean for a week now and are really enjoying it, coming from the T6.1 it's so much more refined although yet to camp in it so will see how that goes!

I have a few questions, currently the two main ones are:

I have condensation in the rear nearside light cluster, assume this is not right?



Assist system alert sounds are so quite I cannot hear them unless radio off and only doing 20mph! I cannot see anyway to increase volume but it is not audible. This is the alert when you enter a 30mph and you're doing 34mph for instance or when speed limits change. The sound on the T6.1 was a loud and obvious beep and we relied on it to remind us of speed limit changes! Is this normal, is there anyway to increase the sound?

I agree it is very quiet.
I have started using RadarBot (similar to Waze) via CarPlay as that is really good at alerting including recording regular speed trap zones. You can also run it ‘behind’ the VW navigation system and it will alert in the background.

That's annoying I was hoping someone would say it's nice and loud, but sadly half thought it to be working correctly and it's just too quiet to be if any use at all. I'll see what VW says, maybe they can fix it in a future software update!?
