Wanted "Swamper" wheels and A/T tyres (and advice?)

Hi All,
I am looking for an alternative set of wheels for my Acapulco Blue T6 Beach. 2WD at standard ride height. Currently run 16" Claytons, silver with factory fit Conti All-Seasons during summer and 17" Thunders, tatty black with Conti Winter2's during winter to cover trips to the alps.

The summer tyres are close to legal limits and have just been taken off the van due to pothole tyre damage, so the Winters are currently on. However they are also getting to the point the tread is less than the useful winter tread depth (different to UK legal limit!)

I am torn between:
a) powder coating the Claytons matt black/grey and adding some All-Terrains such as Falken Wildpeaks (I think the negatives of BFGs are probably too high)
b) putting all terrains on the Thunders
c) I like some of the other swamper style wheels out there, in particular the Oz Rally Raid, some of them are a bit too fussy for me (fake beadlock etc).

So the "wanted" bit is mainly is anyone out there thinking of moving on a set of Oz Rally Raids, with or without tyres. Also if anyone has a lightly used set of suitable A/T tyres (with 3PMSF) for any of the above then I also might be interested!! Additional consideration if people want to chip in, is my current snowchains which fit both sets fine..... I suspect that pretty much any A/T tyre will make that infeasible?

Hi there,
I have a T5 Kombi with 215 65 16 tyres on and have just changed to Yokohama Geolandar A/T tyres about a year ago. They're less chunky than the BFGs and consequently less road noise, almost half way between a road tyre and the BFGs. I can't remember if they have the 3PMSF symbol but will have a look over the next few days.

My brother has a Cali with 17 Davenports and BFGs, I'll ask him how noisy they are when i see hime over the next week.
