A while ago I had a bit of a struggle to close the window in the sliding door on our 2014 Cali. Now everything appears normal from the inside -- the window opens and closes properly -- but from the outside it doesn't close flush.
Messaged our regular mechanic who swiftly suggested I go bother a windscreen firm instead of him. My choices seem to be £1,000 for a complete OEM replacement window fitting, half that for an after-market version (which will look different from the other side), or £60 to 'glue it shut'. None of these sounds brilliant.
A lot of issues get reported with these windows, but they seem to be either windows coming loose or fasteners breaking. What's the likely cause of our issue, and is it something that somebody who knows one end of a spanner from the other could fix?
