Sliding door module replacement or repair?

Hi all,

I have had an auto electrician out to look at the left sliding door on my 2010 Caravelle, the summary is: the module has died, the motors are fine. I've had a look around online and read a few threads here, but would like to know if there are 3rd party modules available - I have not seen any online yet - or if it is possible to have the current module repaired? From the OEM parts I have seen these look like circa £400 parts.

@Lambeth Cali had the module repaired/replaced with other VW components.

Sliding door problems

Morning people. Seeking advice on electric sliding doors on 2005 T5 please...I will attach VCDS scan results. I suspect wiring problems , but can anyone advise me where to start looking please.

I found an auto electrician near me in south London. He offered waiting for the part or one he had reconditioned from an Alhambra. 3 years on still working fine.
