I've started to replace the roof sensors. Just completed a front sensor - no problems.

However, the rear sensor is difficult to remove as the hose is sitting on top of it. Is there a knack to the removal?

I've tried searching but nothing has come up so far. Lambeth Cali says once you have worked out a process it's fine! By the way great write up LC - just stuck on this bit.

Can anyone provide any tips as I'm stuck at the moment.

Thanks.

Worked it out.

Snap off both sensor lugs nearest to you. The sensor can then be eased out towards the canvas by manipulating it. To fit the new sensor snap off the lugs and file the snap points on the sensor so there is no jagged plastic, and then push back in from the canvas side. Voila!

Just fitted the driver's side sensors as I only had 2 new sensors (4 more on order but not available until the end of month).

Hey presto - No error 1000. All works as it should do up and down.

The next stage was to check the hydraulic fluid levels. Thank goodness I don't have to work out how to get the pump out now.
