Can I please have some recommendations for sites in South Wales next weekend… preferably walking distance to a pub/ shop!

Hay on Wye is nice - not sure what sites are currently open though (right on the England Wales border)

Sorry I’m being a bit vague! I have been looking at Gower but also want to do the four waterfall walk near Brecon?
So walking, site seeing and nice food!
Can you help haha?

Oxwich down the Gower covers walking, site seeing and nice food.
There is a great restaurant on the beach, also hotel/pub and beach cafe, plus great coastal walks, a bonus is there is a good campsite just up the hill from Oxwich bay which is £10 per night

If you want to experience probably the best campsite down the Gower I would recommend 3 cliffs bay, it’s expensive tho and the pub is a long walk

If you want to do the water falls I would recommend the Ancient Brit pub and camping which is near the falls

I had a look at 3 cliffs bay and a couple of other sites around there and they all seem to be closed

LLandovery is quite a sweet place. Great cafe at Penygawse. A few pubs and a nice Chinese (you're spot the right one due to the cars outside!)
