Just back from 2 weeks in Scotland- towing 1800kg boat. 1050 mile round trip.
The right rear damper has just spewed its oil on the drive.
Does anyone have any experience of replacing one ( or a pair) with OE or what aftermarket items if any?
If you have access to the VW part number - that would be great , please share. Possibly then order from MAN dealer.
Am I right that on a standard GC680 van the damper has no electronics and is a purely mechanical/hydraulic unit
