My rear bumper has been knocked and scratched by a dishonest so and so, and as a result (apart from some touch up paint) the reflector strip has been broken, which I believe is a MOT fail.
Before buying a new one(probably from Amazon) I wanted to check that it appears the rear bumper needs to be removed or loosened in order to access the clips which hold it in place. Has anyone attempted this themselves?

I had a similar issue you can access it from the back without removing the bumper just squeeze the two retaining clips and it's off.

I’ve just tried to access it, but there’s something (sound proofing maybe) in the way. It may be connected with the spare tyre housing, so not as simple a task as thought…

Possibly the heat shield for the exhaust if Offside one but should be do able.
Near side you need to remove this undertray for access. But if the reflector is bust anyway, just demolish carefully from outside, clear the red push fit clip holes and clip in the new one.

Combination of torx head bolts, 8 or 10mm bolts and the cross head push fit trim clips from what I can see
