Hi everyone.

Not posted for a while but need a little information if anyone can help??

We are visiting Ireland in just over a week, and before travelling to Sligo and Westport, we're going to stopping over at sons new home in southern Dublin but we need to kill some time from ferry till he's home from work so we thought we'd do park & ride but it looks like all their barriers are 2.1m entry. I know Cali is supposed to be 1.99m but we have Rogers single solar panel so assume we'll be about 2.05 ish.

Has anyone else gone under a 2.1m in Cali with solar panel?? Mine is a 22 Reg Ocean on standard 17" wheels with 235 tyres.

Hoping for good news....

Yes you’ll be fine , I had daughters down at a concert and parked behind the castle, in or around Ship St Little, avoid the multi-storeys tho as some are less

Thanks for reply but we were avoiding the city itself and looking to do Park & Ride from south east such as Stillorgan which has a barrier at entrance which they state as 2.1m. I know I'd normally be ok to get under but we have Roger's Solutor Camping Solutions 100w panel which does sit very very low but I don't have anything to measure the full height to top of fixing bolts, hence asking if anyone has..... we're going south as soon lives Donnybrook Gardens

Well went outside with my optical level(should have done it in first place) and on gravel highest point measured 1998mm and that was the connector on solar panel. Top of awning casing was exactly 1990mm so as long as barrier is in good nick I need not worry at 2100mm, I should be well clear but I will go slowly just incase!!!!

Park and ride available from the ferry port itself. Some height barriers but also parts without. Think I paid about 12 euro to overnight there. Bus to city from there
