We have recently purchased our CG600 - been on a couple of local Adventures to try it out, It came with the black alloys and standard tyres which we are getting around 28mpg when tootling with full tank of fuel and water. I really want the 17inch OZ racing wheels with the BF Goodrich tyres, also want a spare wheel ladder/ carrier.

Has anyone any advice re:
* What sort of Reduced MPG will you get with the BF Goodrich and increased road noise levels?

* Anyone know of a Good place to get rear ladder/ wheel carrier from - I have looked at MULE but they are very pricey?

Any advice or info would be appreciated
Thanks
Dave

We have BFG's on our 680. Can't comment on mpg as had them fitted shortly after buying the van. There's a very slight whine at 35-40mph but other than that don't seem to be much different.
We have the Wheeliams spare wheel carrier, fitted by them.

We get circa 26-27mpg on the BFG ATs. For wheel carrier and ladders etc highly recommend APW. https://apwmotorsports.co.uk/

We have 680 with 17” BFG and think its around 2-4mpg drop, also I do notice the noise once over 30mph there is a whine but playing with pressures helps.

We went for the BFG 245 70 17 because of the weight of our 680, and it measures about 2/3mph difference to the speedo. There is a slight increase in noise but you can run them softer so we found the ride better.

2-3mpg loss when I fitted BFG AT to my Toyota Hilux pickup , not fitted them to our 4motion 680
