New Wheel and Tyres?

Hi all

My Beach is on it's factory tyres on 17" Cascaval alloys. I've been thinking that since it will soon be time to change the tyres I might go the whole hog and have it put on some nice 19" or 20" Wheels and maybe have the suspension changed / lowered a bit. Not too much as to compromise the ride but better looking.. I see that Vanstyle seem to have some good deals on a set of woolfrace 19's but wondered if other folks have recommendations. I'd particularly like view on lowering the suspension . I mean, if I put it on 19's the gap between the tyre and wheel arch will reduce anyway? (I live in west London but travel isn't an issue).

If you put the appropriate tyre on any size wheel the diameter of the wheel won't change significantly so will not alter arch gap. If you intend to increase the diameter that is a whole other matter. Wheel size does not, in and of itself govern the final diameter.
