Hi everyone, just waiting to take delivery of my California Coast. Excited and a bit scared too ! I do regular trips to Gibraltar so hopefully plenty of opportunities to camp on the way down. Anyone know of local to Sheffield campsites open all year so I can practise before the big road trip ?

There are plenty campsites open all year in Peak District. Greenhills between Bakewell and Ashford in the Water might be a good one to start you off as easy walk into either.

Congratulations on your new van - how about a photo? We like van pics on this forum!
Castleton is a nice site, easy walk in to pubs etc. good walks around the hills too.

Newfold farm in Edale is a good campsite I have stayed at a few times.
