New Cali owner

Hello all, we picked up our new, well used California Coast 2 weeks ago and are looking forward to getting out and about..

‘We’ll used’ its a 2020 TDI 150 SA. 24k miles The only issue I have is the fact I can’t seem to revoke the previous owners profile and create my own extremely annoying! To say the least! ‘We connect’ ‘My Volkswagen’ is it a software update the infotainment system is needing idk rather frustrating. Apart from the previous user software thing update idk, we’ll get it sorted hopefully

At 5 years old, you will be out of the standard we connect inclusion from new and have to pay for another we connect subscription.

@Sad I’m thinking it’s the infotainment system that needs updating tbh
We connect is now VW connect I have set up an account and password, but the infotainment system won’t talk to me ‍

The account is one thing but without the we/vw connect paid subscription, it won't talk to you. I've had it the same with our Golf and decided it wasn't worth it.

Hey! We just picked up our own 2020 T6.1 about 5 days ago and are having the same problem! We have tried everything from hard resets to transferring the accounts. Our van is currently in the shop to get a true machine factory reset and upgrade.....really want to use car play hahaha. Let us know if you figure out how to fix it. We would love the advice!
