We've been looking to do this for over 10 years, and finally took the plunge with a 2014 California Beach, I prefer the T5.1 due to me being able to take it apart and repair myself, 6 onwards are a bit too techy for me!

There are a few repairs but I'm cool with that, cam & water pump, couple of tears in the canopy (would love some advice on that), inner electric sockets, but I'm going to love doing all of it.

We named her Atlas, joining our 6 berth caravan Aurora for numerous adventures around the country already booked (Devon in two weeks).

We get her next week, can't wait!

Welcome.
Cambelt and water pump - VW have changed their requirements. Apparently No Time Limit just a maximum 140,000 miles.
As far as the Roof Bellows - Tear Aid is the goto an adhesive, clear material cut to size and applied on outside and inside of damaged area.
A new bellows can be fitted DIY but costs about £700 for replacement bellows but the newish ones have a window.
