In 5 years we’ve used the discount code only once.

I once tried to use a forum discount code at SMG Cowfold only to be told that it was not
valid “not sure who told you that mate, do you still want your van serviced or not as are very busy and can give the slot to someone else” (on the day of service.!)

Some sellers may just use it as an opportunity for free advertising, then pull the discount.

Have not bothered with using the codes since!

(….but I’m more than happy to pay for the forum!)
