Hi.
Can so,Rome please explain what the little 2 position switch next to the heater control panel actually does. I realise the manual says it should be switched depending on altitude but I have just realised mine has been set to 2 since I bought the van 12 months ago. While I can appreciate a need to change settings on a propane gas system mine is diesel. What does it do and how does it work..?

Setting 1 is normal altitude, up to 1,500m & Setting 2 is High Altitude 1,500m +

Yeah. Got that but WHAT does it do and what happens if I have it set to 1 and I am at 100m. Does it blow up..??

If you had it set to 1 at 100m that would be fine as position 1 is for up to 1500m??

I'm assuming in position 2 the mixture is run slightly leaner to compensate for the lower oxygen at altitude above 1500m.
