Hello dear Cali drivers,
I have a question.
We drive a 2006 T5. Our automatic transmission has recently been repaired (kept leaking). And since there is over 300.000 km on the clock we took it to a specialist (company called Autrans, we are Dutch) to give the transmission a complete service. Last week we got here back and she drives realy nice. But we noticed that something has changed with the indicator lights on the shifter.
It could be something we didn't noticed before and is normal. So i would like to check it with this bunch of Cali lovers.
The thing is that the S lights stays on even if the shifter is in the D or R position... We can not remember this S light being on all the time. On the dashboard the correct position of the shifter is displayed.
What do you think?

Thanks all,
Tycho

As far as I am aware there should only be 1 symbol lit at a time.
Obviously the gearbox was removed for the repairs so the likelihood of damage, short circuit or mis connection of the indicator light is more than likely if everything is running OK. I think a call/trip to Autrans is called for.
