Kitchen hinge screws corrosion?

No, mine are stainless steel on my 24 plate. Yours are not SS!! Suggest you remove one, check size & source replacements.

I would if it were not in warranty. It’s on the list for VW to look at next month when it is being serviced.

Does anyone else know if their vehicle had stainless steel screws? A VW technician told me yesterday that he has had to remove many kitchen screws and they have all been aluminium.

Mine is a 23 vehicle and no sign of corrosion on any of the bolts on the kitchen hinges. Hard to tell if they are stainless steel or aluminium, but they are definitely a brighter colour than the aluminium hinges so probably SS

I removed the glass tops to clean them properly behind. They were very tight.
Ours are SS but there were slight corrosion signs. If you do remove them make sure you have the correct torx bit.
