Italy road trip May/June 26

We are planning to drive to Umbria and Puglia this summer. There is plenty of info regarding northern and central Italy.
Puglia and the south is a bit scant for campsites and stopovers, does anyone have advice to share?

We traveled to Assisi for a family wedding last summer , Assisi is a beautiful village and a nice campsite about 10 minutes away really worth a visit if your heading that way
