Hi, I’m Joe and I’ve just joined the forum but I’ve owned my 2010 T5 Cali from new and use it as my daily driver. I live in the Bedford / Milton Keynes area. I’m into my air cooled Veedubs as well, having owned various bays and Beetles over the years, and currently have a ‘55 oval beetle which my wife and I have owned for over 30 years. I’ve recently had some cosmetic and mechanical refresh work done on the Cali, which I’m really pleased with. It’s almost like owning a new van. We love the freedom and comfort of the Cali and our favourite places are the northern counties of England and Scotland’s west coast for the remoteness and spectacular scenery. We are planning a trip in October, and are considering a return to the New Forest, which is another favourite, or maybe Devon / Cornwall as it’s been several years since we went there.
