How's the Hybrid working out?

I'm toying with the idea of replacing our 2017 T6 Beach with a T7 Beach and the Hybrid option has grabbed my attention. It's been available for a while now so, if you have one, how's it been?

The fact that it's limited to 4 seats due to weight made it unsuitable for my needs sadly

Yes seems an odd restriction when the Hybrid Multivan can have 6-7 seats. Anyhow I believe this has been discussed already and it's not a deal breaker for me as my current Beach only has 4 seats (but a 5th removable seat would be nice!).

More interested in how well, or not, the Hybrid option works in the real world.

Wondering myself. There’s a couple of hybrids on Autotrader going for 68-69k (VW approved used I’d imagine ) that sounds cheap for the top of the range model doesn’t it?

The discounts / finance deals are very good brand new so they have to keep the used ones to a lowish price point

Are the rails missing for the 5th seat on the hybrid T7 Beach?

The Beach hybrid only having two rear seats would be a complete non-starter for me, it would therefore have to be a diesel or petrol. That would be a shame as I can charge at 11kWh at home.

I just went to double check and the Multivan Beach (all versions) has disappeared from the configurator on the VW (Germany) website. Seems odd.

No. All rails extend to the cabin seats.

RoB5urf I have one since July last year and extremely happy. Smooth and powerful engine with multiple advantages due to the hybrid system. Tested both and definitely good choice in my opinion
