Just wondering if anyone has had their GC washroom door either “adjusted” or replaced? I’ve just noticed on ours that it sticks out more at the bottom than the top. It wouldn’t be an issue except the gap allows water to escape when having a shower. Enjoying the van down in Spain at the mo so using all the facilities more than normal, the reason I noticed it.
When home I’ll try a straight edge along the door to see if the door is straight, but until then we’ll just be careful using the shower.
TIA and Happy Christmas to all!

Our door is the same, out of alignment at the bottom which causes quite a bit of water to leak out when having a shower. We ended up the carpet to make it easier to dry as water was being trapped under it. Booked in to be fixed under warranty. Looks as though a simple adjustment would fix it to align the door properly but dealer says it may need a new door.

Hello @murray0710, do you maybe know the part numbers for the doors, and more specific hinges? I have a problem with one of the hinges that has lost a pin and the door is falling out of allignment. I couldnt find a correct thread for this, but maybe after the fix you had some new hinges were used and visible on some post installation documentation?

Sorry I’ve no idea regarding part numbers. As far as I know it was the same hinges and door as per the original. Been replaced but still leaks.

@DonGraham did you manage to figure this out? I lost one of the pins in one hinge and others start to becoming loose. I would like to replace all 3 but have no idea about part number.

I had a misaligned door, the top hinge was loose, I ordered one from VW but decided to have a quick look first, the hinge/door is easy to remove if you remove all three from the door frame.
One of the pins was missing (don't loose others), I used a 2mm drill bit and cut off the excess with a Dremel.
I cancelled the ordered hinge and greased all the others. Door fits tighter onto the rubber at first and doesn't rattle when driving. A very easy job.

Hi, I’ve also had all 3 hinges replaced under warrantee, unfortunately it made no difference.
Now waiting for the 9th door to be fitted on 3rd November! Yes 9th door!
Not all doors were actually fitted. 3 arrived damaged, and 4 were visibly warped on inspection before fitting, so they didn’t bother fitting them!
The doors are around £1600 each!!
Obviously they have a manufacturing issue with these doors!
