I’m considering aqua wax, but given the price hike, might leave it covered in mangled dead fly for another few months.
I was totally surprised with the number of flying creatures from south of france to north france compared to the UK.
It’s like the UK is devoid of flying wammels.

Give the front end a good old coat of WD40. Stops the insects sticking.
