Folks...out of curiosity can anyone tell me what the charging symbol (highlighted) is. I'm taking it that it has something to do with charging the main battery. Is that correct.

Had you just started the vehicle?

Yes, just started up after overnight stay.

That is about right. It is for 2 batteries and those will take a fair bit of current initially.

A flat engine battery will draw over 40 amps after it has been jump started. That is why the alternator cables are so thick.

Thanks Alan. That's one of the things about the Cali, you notice different things all the time. What's this, what's that, is that normal etc. etc.
