Our 2008 chairs first gave way more than ten years ago and I did a basic glue and re-sew.
Happened again this summer so I removed the seat bases - v easy, just 2 screws per chair - and asked my godson who is a fashion student to reinforce with his sewing machine. He said he had some very strong thread!
Anyway quite easy to do.
Putting back together
Not exactly pretty but should get us through another 10 years!!
