What's a good portable leisure battery that can be powered by my two solar panels and can give power to Alpicool C45 to stop it cutting out with F1 error?

Please and thank you.

Given the following (technical) read, I’m not sure whether investing in probably a bulky and expensive portable power unit will solve your F1 error issue.

When I read it, it seems to me that the power cord that comes with the Alpicool might be the source of the issue, being not heavy enough and any slight drop in voltage from its power source causes the error.

Now I understand you may not want to cut the cord and replace it with a heavier cable but maybe there is an electrician handyman in your neighbourhood that can help.

But maybe I misunderstood part of your question and you want to carry the box actually around. Any “portable” battery (EcoFlow, Jackery etc.) that can give long enough power is hardly portable and heavy but also relatively expensive.

If you are willing to invest in that, I would suggest to replace the fridge instead with one that has a built-in battery (or optionally available) like the EcoFlow Glacier.

What do you have your fridge set at for the battery voltage cut-off? I had the same problem on my Domectic fridge which was set to high . Changing this to medium cured my problem. I believe that the Alpicool is set to high as a default setting so have you tried the medium setting?
