Hello,

Can anyone recommend any European campsites they have visited with good remote working facilities? By that I mean a separate work room - either on-site or perhaps nearby - dedicated for remote workers. Preferably with use of peripherals such as an additional monitor.

I’ve obviously scoured google and there are some sites popping up that now offer this (cowoliday seems to be the easiest source) but I am looking for real-world testimonials.

Some of you might think “just work in the van, or at the bar” - and that’s fine for the odd ad-hoc bit of work. But I am planning on a couple of weeks or more.

In July I stayed at camping-innature.com in the foothills of the Pyrenees. They had a super room, great set up, but unfortunately they told me that they were going to stop offering remote working and were going to change the use of the room.

So please, anywhere anyone has stayed in Europe with a good remote working set up, I would love to hear about it.

I've looked at doing this a few times, I can't remember the examples but most medium sized towns in Europe seem to have some sort of co-working provision and it's often pretty cheap... So maybe focus your googling on the town and co-working rather than the site

Sorry, when I am on holiday, I am on holiday!
Lots of employers let you do "international remote working" (including mine!) so you could do 2 weeks of actual holiday somewhere and also 2 weeks of work while you're away - being on the laptop feels a lot nicer when you're in a co-working space in a beautiful French village knowing you've got a lovely meal and a night in the van at a great campsite ahead of you
