Campsites and where to go in France late October

We are thinking about going to France for Half term in October. Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations of where’s good and also of campsites that will be still open.

Also is the passion France farm sites etc still open to visitors then ?

ACSI is your best bet. They have all the info and good discounts. Only thing is the yearly subscription is from January to January but only £16.

I stayed in a camping near Giens doing a windsurfing course in October many years ago. I remember the weather being good and I had a great time.
