California T6.1 Kitchen Cupboard Handle

I have recently bought a replacement Right Hand Kitchen Door Handle from the club shop. My local VW dealership is quoting £75.00 to fit it (30 minutes' labour inc VAT) because the rivets holding the remaining part of the broken handle need to be drilled out first.

I am sure I have seen a video somewhere of that broken part being removed using a screwdriver. Can anybody help me with this......do I have to drill out rivets first? Is there a video anywhere showing how to replace the part? Thanks for your help!

Lots of postings on link below to study, but I think it is a T10 star head screwdriver (or hex bit) rather than rivet and easily done yourself: take out the contents and shelves, lie on your back with a torch (ideally a headlight), get your head inside the cupboard with tools (or mate on hand) and save £75.

Cupboard latch broken after 9 months..

Help ! Currently away and the left hand cupboard latch appears to have cracked.. Where can I get a replacement? Is this a warranty item, they don't seem particularly robust. D
