Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can help locate the correct rear window replacement for a Cali Ocean 2019.
Auto-windows commissioned by Comfort insurance company are having huge issues locating the correct window, even with the part number 7E5845503H NVB, given to them via my VW Breeze Dealer in Poole.
I have sent them photos of the window, they had a technician out to look at it on Tues who also took photos, I have sent them the KIT number on the side windows of the vehicle, cassis number, engine number
Two technicians with over 55 years experience have both said they’ve never seen a window like the one I need replacing.
It’s a double glazed window, not laminated, no heating element and has a wiper, I have attempted to find the part using several well known suppliers e.g.Just Kampers who all add links to incorrect units.
I can’t be the first person who’s rear window has needed replacing! Happened in a snow/wind storm in Glencoe, Scotland something loose, stone/tile in the car park.
It’s been over 2 weeks now, and we don’t seem to be any closer to getting this fixed.
Any words of wisdom or supplier information would be gratefully received. I am also at the meet this weekend, so you can have a look at it if you’re coming too!
