I've looked through some threads already - but they seem dated. Have any of you found business cover for their California?
I've used comfort insurance since we got the Cali, and they've been fine until now. In the last year I've taken on some part-time work as an Expedition Supervisor and Assessor for Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. We were short of space on a minibus this weekend so I called to see if I could add business use to transport a couple of kids to the start of their expedition and was told no. I then asked if I could just transport a few rucksacks - no. I then double checked that I can sleep in the van while at a campsite in the middle of the expedition - "no you would be working, so you're not covered. If you were volunteering you could."
Anyway I need cover, including Europe for social domestic and pleasure, and at a minimum the option to sleep in my van while helping out on DofE expeditions. Mileage is <12000, and usually the van is garaged.
