Hi, so tonight I thought I would wash the Cali before the hose pipe ban In Yorkshire. When I lifted the bonnet to clean around the edges I noticed the brake fluid reservoir lid sitting on the top of the windscreen scuttle. Luckily I could see no leakage or anything like that . The Cali recently went in to my local VW van centre to look at the faulty radio head unit and they sent me a health check video with it clearly not fitted as they did a fluid check on the video they sent. There are no warning lights on and no obvious spills from the reservoir . I’ve refitted the lid and been for a drive and all seems ok. I have emailed the van centre just to make them aware that it hasn’t been fitted and attached a photo. I’m assuming it’ll be all ok as we are going away this weekend and don’t want any breakdowns. I think I’m lucky that the kid was still there.

Will be fine.

Only becomes a possible issue if the level drops below the plastic pipe on the right hand side (when facing the engine), as fluid also supplies the clutch.

That’s good to hear. Thanks for the quick response
