Blinds missing cables to hold in place

Sliding door side - roller blind no longer stays down. A friend mentioned there should be 2 cords to keep them in place when pulled down. It looks the same in the other side. They must have snapped. Does anyone know of a mobile fitter operating in the Windsor SL4 area who could help please? Or one of you locally who can help me DIY.

There is only one wire per side. this looks normal. Try to clean the existing felt with a cotton bud , then vacuum.

The Felt material is still available from Pound land, easy fix, makes a big difference in operation
