Just come back from Holiday and the Leisure battery is flat.
Before I get the hopeful upgrade to sort out the battery drain and also get my solar panels fitted, I am considering connecting the van to a weekly charge timer from the house.
Has anyone tried using a 7 day timer to give it 5 hours/week to give it a boost, the batteries have gone flat 3 times now and getting worried the batteries will get ruined

I leave mine on ehu all the time when it’s parked up in the garage

This all sounds like very specific issues with the new version. I’ve had ours parked for months between trips and never had dead leisure batteries before, during or after a trip. I dare say, unless this is suddenly expected behaviour that something else is going on.

On average the t7 should last about ten days while parked without use or ehu, i have done 3 days off grid and all has been OK, the battery’s charge very quick and can be back to max by running the engine for 10 mins. Having said that, i have just installed one of rogers solar panels and the batteries are now full all of the time.
