We were travelling up the east coast (Suffolk, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire) across the top to Shropshire, then down to Gloucestershire and back home (South Coast) in August. After day one, when winding out the awning, it strated to judder then jam. A bit of force and it came out, a bit. We went to a dealer in Suffolk who said a cable might have broken. WE used it gingerley for the rest of the trip. On arriving home I called a local van converter who said he would look at it for £100 but couldn't guarantee anything - bargain.
Then my son investigated and found that the square end shaft had come adrift and had moved down indie the awning roller. He retrived it and we secured it with a small Jubille Clip.
All in now well with the world.
