Hi, I have just started kitting our new to us 6.1 Ocean out and would like a small porch type air awning. The Kampa Sprint Air is currently on offer and wondered if anyone has any experience of using one? They look easy to erect and not too heavy to carry. There is only two of us and a dog so doesn’t need to be a massive space. Anyone have any comments or alternatives!? Thank you

Whilst I have no experience of the awning you mention, we purchased the Telta core air and love it, very high quality and easy to put up and down, perfect for the two of us.

That Telta awning looks nice. I think they had something to do with Kampa before they stared Telta.
We went to the NEC camping show in November and did the rounds looking at all the drive away awnings.
We went there expecting to see the Dometic Hub as i had about it and somone here also recommended it and so i set my sights on one. When we visited Dometic they had no Hub on display and the two guys there were dismissive so we walked away disappointed.
After that we went to Vango and other similar level products, but after several visits on the Isabella stand we really liked the stand out quality of their product so figured we would take their awning. However whilst waiting forever for someone to come available to write up an order we walked next door to Telta, they were charming and showed us all around the product and did an overall right job of selling me an awning right there and then!

We thought Telta was as good as Isabella rightly or wrongly but better than Vango and Co. So ultimately we saved £400 over the Isabella and felt pleased to have saved money along the way. In the end we felt Telta was the compromise if not going for an Isabella who had the reputation as being the best overall at the show.

Thank you that is really helpful. We’re not going to the NEC next month so good to hear from someone that has been recently.

Hi, interested in your wee DA awning. We are off to the SECC show this week and had been thinking about a new awning, we’ve had the Vango Palm for 6 years and had been thinking a new Vango Kela Pro, but the Tetla looks braw.
Had a look on sites and saw a utube of of last years NEC demonstrating the Tetla 260 cube …. Is this the one you have ?
Hope to see them exhibiting on Tuesday.

Hi BeeBee

Yes its the Core 260 and we paid extra for the tunnel option and about £25 for the telescopic bar that cleverly "locks in" on the inside giving you an interesting set of new functions on the inside which is cool.
