Anyone swapped 255/45/18 for 245/50/18 ?

Going to need to swap out dizzys boots shortly. After 5 weeks in spain I am thinking should've come with my 17s ... anyways.. currently on 255/45/18 , had a look on tiresize.com and 235/50/18 seems a pretty close match and it opens up more choices and some AT or all season options.

Anyone been here ?
