Alarm issue

We have just taken delivery of a T6.1 Ocean a week ago and for the first time we plugged a bike rack into the trailer plug. On locking the Cali, and after aprox 1 minute when the alarm is set, the alarm trips if a door handle is pulled or the boot catch is touched. It does not do it when the trailer plug is removed. Sadly, today it alarmed all day at our campsite in Edinburgh whilst we were visiting the castle. We are not popular.

Does anyone have any idea's what's causing these false alarms? I need help! Thanks
