Adblue warning won’t go away

Think you will find the Ad Blue fill up requirement is expressed in gallons, not litres.
If you have the dashboard generally to display distance in miles it shows fill required in gallons, switch it Km and then it shows the Adblu in litres.

No need to change miles to km, you can change gallons to litres independently. You still get mpg shown.

I’ve just had the problem of topping up the Ad Blue and the gauge not resetting on my 2019 T6 Ocean.

I let the level get down to where the warning was 650 miles until empty. Van said I needed to top up between 1.75 and 2.25 gallons. I put 10 litres in, which is 2.2 gallons. Switched on the ignition, left for 30 seconds, but the van is still showing 650 miles until empty. I took it for a drive, got to 600 miles until empty, an orange top up light appears, along with dire warnings of the van won’t start if it’s gets down to zero. Strangely, it had registered the top up amount in gallons, but had not reset the mileage. It was now saying 0.75 gallons needed but still 600 miles until empty.

So today, I bought another 10 litres ( couldn’t find anywhere that sold 5 litre packs). 0.75 gallons = 3.41 litres. So I topped it up with another 3 litres. Did the 30 seconds ignition thing, I initially thought it hadn’t worked, as it still showed 600 miles until empty, but then it beeped and reset and is now showing 6000 miles until empty. Phew! I was starting to get nervous as I have a 300 mile round trip to London on Thursday.

It’s probably the 4th or 5th time I’ve done an Ad Blue top up but it’s the first time I’ve had this problem.
