2025 T7 California chairs

Hi, I’m new to California range and noticed a bit problem with chairs in T7, its look like mine wear very quickly around locking mechanics, which will be a bit problematic very soon. Is that common, or user error?

Thanks, yes its happening in exactly the same place, sent photos to dealership, waiting for response, but would be great to know if anyone else noticed similar issue

We have the same issue as soon as we put them up not even sat on yet

From the uneducated, re T7 would be of interest, what is wrong, I can not see from the pictures.

Think it is the gouge (ringed in green) in the aluminium tube at the indent (Ringed in red)for the lock feature.
