Had a quick look at this on line without any obvious success.
I need to follow a GPX route for a cycle event down into Europe but not seeing any obvious techniques.
I have the GPX files and transfers via Garmin to the cycles easily but need the van to follow the same route, not meet at the destination.
Has anyone had any success doing this that can shed some light

Not specifically but I think you can convert them to something like a kmz file to run in google maps. If using Android auto Komoot is pretty good I use that and it can be linked to the Bosch app on the bike.

I've used the Komoot app on my phone to do this

If you happen to have or can borrow a Garmin Drive SatNav unit then I believe you can get a GPX file to transfer on to there, but haven't personally tried that. Might be an option if none of the CarPlay options work.

You can load it into Google My Maps but online and then save it. Then access it from Google Maps. You can’t really follow it from what I can see as a route, but you can see the route and follow it manually. Loads of videos and explanations online. Just tested myself with a dummy GPX, works fine.

If you have CarPlay or Android Auto you can use the Gaia app which you can upload a GPX file either on the web or the app. I’ve done this for off road routes in France before and it worked well.

OsmAnd maps can load gpx and has a CarPlay interface on iOs and AndroidAuto on Android
I had used it to drive offroad without mobile coverage, just GPS
