Anyone using a Vango Cove Air 3 Low with their T7?

Hi all

Looking for tips/advice/experience with this awning

So far we've done 3 trips and honestly I'm finding it a total pain to work with

The ground sheet around the front door is super tight and lifts up

The middle beam feels like it's too long for this awning and if left velcrod in it totally bends

When putting it up do you beg the base and then inflate? Or other way round? I've followed the video but just finding it really tricky

Any tips to perseve my sanity would be appreciated as I must be doing something fundamentally totally wrong!

Just spent three days in Oban with one, cracking bit of kit, i use the vango tempest pump and once the connecting strip is connected to the van takes 6 mins to inflate. (Only do the tubes to 6.5 bar) Connect the awning to the fig8 and kador strip and peg out the awning tunnel 1st (one peg each side) make sure the end of the awning strip is at the very end of the rail at the back of the van 1st (otherwise the side door will catch when open. Then inflate the tubes…adjust and peg out the 4 corners. Make sure all the doors are zipped up fully before pegging down. Also note if the van is too far away from the awning then the tunnel Y pole will move up and down in the wind. The pole needs to be so tight it arches up when connected. I had three campers come over after watching me erect it and comment on how good it looked and how fast it went up.

Thanks, that sounds more like how it's meant to be. I don't mind the manual pump, but I'll add yours to my shopping list.

Do you see what I mean about the beam that seems too long?

When I put the driveaway bit on its a bit tricky to judge where to peg the sides/tunnel. And I find that the tunnel side doors are never taught and not easy to use.

I was thinking next time to just peg the 4 corners and do the driveway afterwards to see if I find it easier!
