Factory Campervan order

Hi guys,

I ordered a campervan around a month ago now, I was also provided an 8 digit order number by my dealer.

Is there a way to track this online?

Your right, I asked vw ! Its on week 28 ... not sure what that means

I think it means it's due to be built next week

From experience gained a few years ago, the build takes around 2 weeks. Once built it waits for a boat, and then onward transit to your dealer. This takes around 3 to 5 weeks typically. So the expected delivery should be circa 5 to 7 weeks after the start of the build.

Good insight - never knew what the timeline looked like

With VW cars you can track the build and delivery. Unfortunately VW commercial doesn’t allow this - I fail to understand the difference.

Ordered my T7 California PHEV on 21st April, went into build 22th May, arrived at French port 3rd June (status 38), In UK 16th June, arrived at dealer 1st July, due to collect 8th July.
You need VW order number to contact VW Head office, not order number as on dealer oreder form, they are very helpful.
