Hello all,
So after months of decision making and nearly buying in December, I got a great deal on an 'in stock' (arrived the day before, built in March 2026 delivered April) T7 California Ocean 2.0TDi, with some options, Towbar, Art Velor seats, Fortana red, glossy black Toshima 18" wheels and mudflaps, pick it up in 12 days.
I got a great deal that suited me.
I will use it for car purposes, van purposes, to work from occasionally with a view, day trips, festivals of all kinds and extended breaks, including into Europe. But primarily it will be a base.
The flexibility of the vehicle is insane in my opinion, but there is need to go into details, unless anyone would like to know my feelings on it.
We have a caravan which this could tow, but the goal is to get rid of the caravan which we don't use as much now, and it was sited anyway. It's run its course.
We are family with my partner, and 13yo son, plus 22 year old who does his own things now and 2 dogs and 2 cats. Sometimes dogs will stay with older son who lives with us and looks after cats.
To say i'm looking forward to it is an understatement, we also have another car, which will be in regular use also.
Tow bar for bikes, camping trailer when needed, and towing motorbike(s) around, I have a motolug motorbike trailer, can be used as a single or a double trailer and can fit in a big van/ big boot (estate).
Hope you are all having fun in your vans, and looking forward to joining your discussions on here.
