Hi, has anyone tried to use the inverter three pin socket? I tried mine for the first time today and noticed its quite loose, it's so weak that my laptop PSU unplugged itself as I was driving, which is a bit concerning.

I have used it a few times but have had no such issues myself sorry.

I use it every week with my laptop charger (while the kids are at sports clubs when it becomes my office!) and have had no issues either - I wonder if it's worth getting it checked out in case there's a dodgy spring or something

I have noticed some plugs are loose in there, others are fine. I think it is because it is one of those universal socket receivers for Type G and Type D (India, etc with round plugs). I put a short socket extender in there that fits well, and plug into that - leaving it somewhere more accessible.

Thanks for the replies, I’ll try an extension, if it’s still loose I’ll raise it with the dealer.

I've never used it and don't have plans doing so. It's hard to reach behind and the battery capacity is low anyway. I better use a lifepo power station with a larger capacity
