What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

It’s all about common sense. I’ve never had an issue, and as an EV driver myself I am respectful to ensure I am not hogging a charger that someone else might need. Every charger will have the terms of charging posted or via an app. In my experience it’s typically the fast DC chargers that have idle fees, or AC chargers in congested downtown city areas. I’m typically using them up in the mountains in remote areas and usually I am the only one up there at night.

Thanks, @Webbah_in_Switzerland, it does sound like a cracking system you have worked out, including using an Ecomat+ Select heater for the reasons you elaborated in your previous post(s) here on that heater.

These chargers are also great to top up the batteries and go in Winter. Solar is challenging here for the next 5 months.

I have deliberated about one of the above Carbox bootliners for months. I already had a budget one from Halfords:

https://www.halfords.com/motoring/c...ottez-boot-mat---medium--75x100cm-360032.html

It has been OK, but predictably at £28 (now) it was not perfect.

The Roofbox/Carbox photographed above was linked to by someone a while back, and I finally splashed out last week (£104 plus delivery). It arrived rolled tight and needs to be warmed (using my Ecomat+, of course!) for a few hours in situ (with help from masking tape) to regain its proper shape which is now perfect. The two button studs are for a useful free add on bumper protector.

Added note: Whoops, looks like I got the last T6.1 one - but that they still have ones for the T5 and T6 (though not the T6.1 version).

Further added note: The Roofbox Company just confirmed that "Carbox ceased trading earlier in the year so [they] will not restock going forward".

Bought this cargo box (also came with handy knock off yeti cooler) which fits perfectly under the rear shelf. Also now houses the spare gas (907) perfectly and has a really good seal which I feel more comfortable having in the van.
Also picked up a few storage boxes from B&M for the cupboards and two rugs from Dunelm which I saw someone do on here. Fit lovely and the join is acceptable, I cut them around the kitchen unit with a pair of scissors.

I'm thinking about going full dometic for when my van arrives, they look pretty smart and you can get various cooler inserts for them if you want extra cold space

It had 3x cooler bags, 1 large (takes up half the space) and 2 smaller ones. With all 3 in the cargo, I can still put the gas cannister in there, so it's ideal.

The large cooler also fits perfectly between the captains seats at the front, so ideal for keeping food in whilst driving if you don't want to stop and the passenger can feed you whilst driving lol!

I think I can get about £50 worth of baby bells in there.
